Mariana has 14 years' experience as a commercial insurance broker for businesses, professional services and farms.  Having operated from Nelson, New Plymouth and now Cromwell, Mariana’s Senior Broker role with HTL includes heading up the South Island branch.  She is excited to focus on growth and development of our support for Mainland clients.

Education & Expertise

Mariana is qualified to provide financial advice on Fire & General Insurance. Additionally, she holds a Diploma in Business Administration and brings with her years of business experience into her financial advice. Mariana enjoys learning about clients’ specific insurance needs and sharing her knowledge of risk options available to kiwis on the national and global markets.

Mariana’s experience across Construction, Engineering, Management Lines including specialty liabilities and professional indemnity, Marine, SME’s & Tradies, Agri and Tourism businesses, is valuable for her clients and positions her well to understand the complexities of their companies and industries. She is well placed to appreciate exposures, analyse risk and give sound advice on management and mitigation.

Outside of Work

Now that Mariana’s children are out living their own lives she enjoys having more time to tramp, camp, and be out in nature.  Having an interest in art and film history means she loves art galleries and movie theatres too.
