Joining the team in early 2022, Tom O’Neill brings 4 ½ years of insurance experience to The HTL Group. He began his insurance career in North Waikato, after which he made his way back to his home province of Taranaki to continue his career.
Education & Expertise
Tom is qualified to provide financial advice on General Insurance. Additionally, he holds Diploma's in Agriculture and Farm Management from Lincoln University.
Born in Stratford and raised on the family dairy farm where he is still heavily involved, Tom is uniquely competent and experienced in the rural sector and other supporting industries. He understands first-hand the challenges of running a business, and the importance of managing risk effectively.
Looking out for people’s livelihoods and quality of life is a top priority of Toms. He understands the importance of having a contingency plan to better protect your family’s financial well-being and minimise disruption to everyday life when something goes wrong.
He will be based in our New Plymouth office and servicing clients Taranaki-wide, with the ability to service a broad range of Fire & General Insurance needs. He looks forward to getting to know you and your business.
